A new space for a new era.

When One Workplace, the largest furniture dealer in Northern California, decided to move its headquarters and showroom, it had grand ambitions for the new location.

A significant goal was to shift away from a transactional showroom experience to something more collaborative and reflective of design partnership. The next iteration of its corporate headquarters needed to embody this sense of innovation and progression

One Workplace purchased a former paper plant warehouse in Santa Clara and we helped them transform it into a multi-functional indoor-outdoor environment that transcends both office and showroom norms to create a functioning exhibition space where (almost) everything is for sale, and everybody who works there lives in what they sell.

The space reduced workstation footprints, moving the majority of the sales team to a modern, mobile workflow where workers no longer require a dedicated workstation.

And because we’re always thinking ahead, we also provided a raised floor system in the open office for easy future furniture reconfiguration if and when it's required. In the beginning, the task seemed monumental, but great minds came together and produced a space that truly proves One Workplace isn’t just talking the talk, but walking the walk when it comes to their innovative approach to sales.
